Who is Farmers Fresh?
Established in 2000 as part of the Farmers First group of companies, Farmers Fresh is the leading farmer owned abattoir supplying lamb carcasses, cuts, mutton and offals to European and UK wholesale customers. Operating from our abattoir at Kenilworth, Warwickshire we employ a highly skilled workforce, which includes a management team with a wealth of knowledge in the abattoir and agricultural industries.
What we do
As a dedicated lamb abattoir we guarantee full traceability on all stock, working closely with our farmer suppliers and market buyers to meet customer demands. Farmers Fresh is a fully certified halal abattoir, and licensed to procure and process Welsh lamb.Our products

We've achieved a lot over the years, and here's an overview of how Farmers Fresh Ltd has grown since 1999.
Oct 1999 - May 2000
The business begins to develop with major refurbishment and upgrading to abattoir and chillers. An additional chiller is completed.
A new processing area opens for offal.
1000 carcass capacity chiller is built to meet increased demand.
10 years on and the abattoir is purchased by Farmers Fresh. A further extended and covered lairage houses stock procured from England, Scotland and Wales.
The skins processing area is updated and extended.
A new boning room is built, allowing us to increase the volume and range of cuts available to our customers.
To ensure our lambs are of the highest quality, we continually welcome in auditors who award our meat with the highest accreditations.
Assured Food Standards Our lamb has been farmed, prepared and checked regularly by independent experts to ensure it is of a good standard.
Welsh Lamb Our Welsh lambs are of the highest standard.
BRC Global Standards BRC Global Standards is used to guarantee the standardisation of quality and to ensure that we fulfil our legal obligations.
Halal Our lambs have been farmed, slaughtered and prepared in a way that abides by the laws of halal food preparation.
